I was at the Senior Center today and failed a Health and Safety course that was put on for us old fogies ...
One of the questions was: "In the event of a fire, what steps would you take?"
"Fuckin' big ones" was apparently the wrong answer.....
I sometimes wonder if I ruined her for it: I always gave her parts of things, showed here how things worked when she was little, stuff like that. And she was genuinely curious.
But I think she somewhat adopts her mom's spirituality and thinks science is in opposition to that. I tried and explained to her once that miracles and magic are just technology we don't understand yet. For example, native tribes would consider her phone to be like magic.
She kinda stomped outa the room over that one, poor babygir.
